Waiting for our flight in mid May on a Thursday at 11:30am. The lounge is empty except for us and another family. The airport check in process was swifter than most as well.
When we were here the bar still had self service breakfast food, which was just coffee, juices, some pastries, and cereal. I imagine there would be more food for lunch. The space is bright, faces the tarmac, and has lots and lots of comfy couches. The staff was courteous. Overall a very pleasant experience. -

This is for the lounge located next to Gate 10.
There are comfortable chairs.
The staff is excellent.
The food selection is very limited and the sandwiches are mediocre.
It is quiet.
Way better than sitting outside with the lesser people.

Trust me, if you have a membership or can get a pass, use it. Waiting at your departure gate at PVR can be downright annoying. It's hot, loud, and crowded.
They actually advertise three lounges in PVR which is great, even one on the arrivals side.
Although some of the seats were stained, the operation including the service ran pretty well. I sat in the club chairs section where every chair had a USB port and an AC outlet which kept my phone juiced while I listened to music. I skipped most of the food offerings save a cookie and some candies.
It was perfect until two families of four (four toddlers in total) invaded and turned my haven into a loud airport gate. Well, they were loud, but they were kids having fun. Can't fault them for that.
This is still way better than being at the departure gate :) And they scan digital cards here. WooHoo! -

The service here was great. They are friendly and fast.
The food is actually pretty decent but it's mostly sandwiched and snack things. I do appreciate there is an attendant watching and refilling constantly.
The seating may seem sparse but if you are willing to sit downstairs (where the bathrooms are) then you will have a lot of room to spread out.
Also, the wifi was best in here than in the rest of the airport. -

Two stars- the staff as they are great and friendly and the second star is because I'm giving the various PV airport VIP lounges credit for their existence as the airport itself is quite overcrowded, unorganized and crappy especially on high volume days. The VIP lounges are not great and can be quite full but it's still somewhat a place to escape from the overall airport chaos. If I were Tom Hanks in that movie where he is stuck for days in an airport, I would definitely hope to God that it was not the PV airport.
The food at the PV VIP lounges are terrible. Paltry looking chicken cesar salads that aren't refrigerated, nuts that are exposed to people using their fingers to grab, sandwiches that had barely any filling and were in disarray in the tray.
The sizes of the various VIP lounges are small and often packed on weekends. The larger lounge on the bottom level once you past gate 10 is more spacious but the food is just as lack luster.
To make your experience worth it I would definitely drink alcoholic beverages at the bar. Remember to tip not only at the bar but the individual who clears off the tables as I always see them running back and forth being the busiest and most hard working in the lounge as they serve so many more clients.
If you are paying out of pocket for the VIP lounge then I would most definitely skip it but if you have access as a perk then it is alright but go in with zero expectations or comparisons to other airport VIP lounges that you've been to abroad.
